Some people are born with an entrepreneurial spirit that tends to motivate them their entire lives. Jon Boles is one of these incredible people. He was already ready to head to work at age four and wanted to go to work every day with his dad. He dreamed every night of a business that he would someday call his own.
“My parents used to tell me stories of when I was four years old and talk about running my own company someday as we would pass construction sites to look at the houses being built.
At age 4-5, I used to wait by the door every morning crying that my dad wouldn’t take me to work with him, so they bought me a little suit and gave me one of my dad’s old briefcases to make me feel like I’d be going to work with him,” Jon recalls.
The next few years of Jon’s life, however, were not the best. Like most success stories, there’s always a story of grit and hell that they went through to get to where they are today. Shortly after Jon started envisioning his dream life, yes at the age of four, his parents suddenly split up and divorced. That led to him getting bullied at school, hanging out with the wrong friends, and giving up on even trying throughout grade school and high school.
After hitting rock bottom at the age of 20, Jon got his life together and did a complete 180. He was sick and tired of not fulfilling his destiny and wanted to fulfill the greatness that he knew he had in him.
It was these ups and downs that pushed Jon to finally take the step to start his own business. But, first he had to humble himself.
“I was so broke at 20-21 years old from hitting rock bottom that I had to beg my parents to borrow 6-months worth of rent money so I could move to a bigger city and start my career. Little did I know that my entire life would change and my entrepreneurial life would begin,” Jon mentions.
“I’ve had this feeling inside of me since I was a kid that there was something in me that I couldn’t explain. I saw visions and could create movies in my head of businesses, strategies, my ideal life, etc. Teachers thought I was crazy. But, I always knew that I was destined for greatness and in some way shape, or form, I was going to drastically impact the world and everyone that’s in my life,” Jon mentions.
Since taking that small loan from his parents and fast-forwarding today, Boles has had quite the career in just a short 12 years. Over the past 12 years, Jon has built 12 of his own brands, selling two, and building and consulting on over 350 brands for clients over the years. Even working with prestigious brands like Ferrari, Lamborghini, and Maserati to just name a few. His latest company, AVINTIV, is now a nationally recognized brand, winning over 40+ best in class awards and publications.
“AVINTIV is my dream business. We build, rebuild, and grow some of the most competitive brands in the country right now and I get to call that my job. It’s a dream come true. One day we could be running the marketing for a $100 million dollar cannabis brand and the next implementing marketing campaigns in over 300 locations of a fitness franchise. Every day is something new and the momentum and growth we’ve experienced over the years is so exciting yet humbling,” Jon mentions.

After seeing all of the growth AVINTIV has had, we were interested to hear what the future plans are. Jon stated:
“We’re working on some really exciting things as a company but also with a lot of the amazing clients we have. We plan on doubling our team over the next 12-16 months to help sustain the growth. We’re also investing in satellite offices in three other cities and states over the next 24 months which will grow our presence within those states, keeping Scottsdale, AZ as our headquarters. We are always looking to deliver an even better experience to our clients so we’re also developing an entirely new account management system to truly give our clients a white-glove experience while working with AVINTIV. Lots of exciting things going on that have me smiling like I’m that four-year-old kid again,” Jon mentions.
