Jerry’s story began with Jerry’s family making the life-altering journey to the United States, settling in the bustling neighborhoods of East Los Angeles. Raised in Boyle Heights, Jerry quickly adapted to life in America, navigating the challenges of a new language and culture.
As the eldest son, Jerry took on a sense of responsibility from a young age; he learned the value of hard work and perseverance. At 18, he dove into the world of sales, starting his career in the car business.
Fluent in both English and Spanish, Jerry quickly became widely recognized for his exceptional sales skills and his ability to connect with people from all backgrounds.
During the Great Recession in 2008, Jerry faced a difficult decision. The mortgage company he worked for shut down, leaving him unsure about his future. However, instead of giving in to uncertainty, Jerry viewed this as a chance to start anew and pursue his passion for real estate full-time.
“I was inspired by the fact that you can have unlimited potential for earning money as long as you work hard,” Jerry says.
Drawn by the fascination of entrepreneurship and the freedom to chart his course, Jerry saw how real estate’s potential can also transform lives. He dedicated himself to helping others achieve the dream of homeownership in Southern California.
His bilingual fluency in English and Spanish became a valuable asset, allowing him to connect with diverse clients. Whether guiding first-time homebuyers through the intricacies of the market or assisting sellers in maximizing their property’s appeal, Jerry approached each transaction with empathy and expertise.
Today, Jerry is a Licensed Realtor and full-time Real Estate Broker. With 17 years of experience in the field, he boasts a record of over 102 closed deals. Most weekends, you’ll find him hosting Open Houses, providing potential buyers with an immersive experience of the properties he represents.
“Real estate is my life, and I don’t have a plan B. It is my career and passion to help families achieve the American Dream of home ownership,” Jerry shares.
Jerry believes success is not limited to the real estate industry’s boardrooms. One of his most significant achievements is his recovery from addiction. When he began his career in real estate, he had to overcome the challenges of alcoholism.
Now, after being sober for 15 years, Jerry sees each day as proof of his strength of character, and his younger daughter, Leilah, is his most important motivation to keep moving forward.
