In the vibrant world of music, Sabina SouLab has crafted her unique path. Born in Guadalajara, Mexico, Sabina is a singer, songwriter, and producer who has captivated audiences with her soulful melodies and empowering lyrics. Sabina‘s love for music ignited at a young age, and she began honing her skills as a singer and songwriter. Drawing inspiration from various genres, Sabina developed her distinct fusion of sound that sets her apart.
“I create my fusion of music by mixing genres like R&B, soul, hip-hop with a little bit of funk but also bolero influences,” Sabina explains.
Her debut EP, titled “Solo Tu,” marked the beginning of her artistic journey in 2016. Since then, Sabina has delighted her fans with singles such as “Luna,” “Caminando lento,” and “Rosa Groove.” Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic in 2020, Sabina channeled her creativity and wrote and produced her second EP, titled “Cuarentunes.”
Recently, Sabina achieved a significant milestone in her career by participating in the TV show “Tengo Talento mucho talento” in the United States. Her talent took her to the semifinals, showcasing her artistry to a wider audience.
“I wrote and released my single ‘Sabor a mi’ in 2022, and in June of the same year, I released my third EP titled ’21:21,’ where you can listen to soulful R&B melodies,” Sabina shares.
Building on her momentum, Sabina released her latest EP, “FUNKY FRESH,” in May 2023. The EP was recorded in Los Cabos, BCS, MX, and Cordoba, Argentina. With its high-energy production and soulful vibes, “FUNKY FRESH” showcases Sabina’s versatility as an artist.
“My latest EP, ‘FUNKY FRESH,’ brings an explosion of positive energy to the world. It’s an invitation to let loose, dance, and embrace the joy of life,” Sabina exclaims.
Sabina’s journey has been characterized by the challenges of starting a business in the music industry. However, her mindset and perseverance have been instrumental in overcoming obstacles and staying true to her passion. Sabina advises aspiring entrepreneurs and artists to believe in themselves, be prepared for both successes and failures and never give up on their dreams.
“Fear is an invitation to fight for what I want and to move forward from fear to motivation,” Sabina reflects.
